I have given a lot of thought to this decision over the past few months, and I find that I am no longer able to fulfill the role of an active and productive member of the board. My three and one half year affiliation with SAAB has been both rewarding and the basis of professional and personal growth and I am extremely proud to have been a member. The people that I have met and worked with over this period have been both encouraging and helpful, and also examples of selflessness and courage. My new job is also rewarding and demanding and now that our children are all in college, I find that it is time to spend more time with my husband. I thank all of you for making the experience of being a SAAB member so enjoyable and beneficial to so many. I especially want to acknowledge the members of the Client and Family Committee who have been so vcaonderfui to work with, so accommodating to me, and mostly for being such wonderful and dedicated people. Tom, you are so uplifting and positive, that you bring out the best in whoever you are with.To Chuck,Amalya,and Fatima,thank you for being the inspiration that you are to all of us and for believing in what you do with such devotion.You are all truly an inspiration to me.
