RE: 83.9 LURING AVE.,CROCKET I`, APN#354-094-009
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors,
I intend on complying with the"Notice and Order to Abate" letter received on July 7, 1998 but
need additional time to bring the building into compliance.
I had already begun clearing the garages, located directly behind the building,on Winslow Ave.
(see attachment 6123198)when your letter was received. There was years of garbage and debris that
people have stored in the garages,as well as along side and underneath the structure. Since July 11,
myself and three other people have been clearing the property of this accumulation of garbage amd debis.
After the garages and surrounding area are cleared of garbage and debris,my immediate plans
for the building at 819 Loring Ave.are:
Clear the garbage and debris from the interior of the building
Repair anchor replace all broken or missing windows
Repair all doors and secure with deadbolts
Front of building--Whitewash exterior,clean windows,window coverings
Sides and rear of building--Remove falling shingles, whitewash exterior
There is absolutely no way I could accomplish a task of this size within the twenty day time
frame you allotted. Therefore,I am requesting September 25 as a date for completing the aforementioned
work on 819 Loring Ave.
Thank you in advance for considering this request.
Sincerely,
F.DAVID TOWNSEND
