Code Section 7260-7277). The California Department of Housing & Community
Development issues guidelines to implement the statutes. The Agency adopted the State
Guidelines by Resolution RA 84-7, in 1984. The State Guidelines were substantially
updated in 1997. Adopting the new State Guidelines will permit the Agency to utilize these
new guidelines. In addition, the Government Code was amended subsequent to the
issuance of the State Guidelines. These amendments made significant changes in the
manner of calculation of relocation payments. These amendments are favorable to the
Agency.
