I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Warks Director, or his designee,to EXECUTE, on behalf of
the County, a Sixth Amendment to Modification of Lease Agreement, between County and Servico
Concord, Inc., for the lease of the Sheraton Concord Hotel.
II. Financial Impact:
There should be no financial impact from this action.

III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The County owns the land underlying the Sheraton Concord Hotel near the Buchanan Field Airport. The
County leases the land to Servico Concord, Inc. (Servico), which operates the Hotel. Servico's title
company found errors in the legal description and site plan for the leased premises,which were attached to
the lease as exhibits. Servico has provided a revised legal description and site plan, and has requested an
amendment to the lease to replace the previous legal description and site plan with the revised exhibits. The
County has verified the accuracy of the revised legal description and site plan.
The Sixth Amendment to the Modification of Lease Agreement also provides for the Lessee's
reimbursement of the County's expenses in the event that the Lessee requires the County's review and
consent of various documents.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
The County will not sign the Sixth Amendment to the Modification of Lease Agreement.
