The Fair Political Practices commission has adopted a regulation (2 Cal. Code of Regs. 18730) which contains the terms of a standard conflict of interest code. After public notice and hearing it may be amended by the Fair Political Practices Commission to conform to amendments in the Political Reform Act. Therefore, the terms of 2 California code of Regulations Section 18730 and any amendments to it duly adopted by the Fair . Political Practices commission are hereby incorporated by reference. NOW, THtEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this regulation and the attached Appendix designating officials and employees and establishing disclosure categories, shall constitute the conflict of interest code of the Crockett-Valona Sanitary District. Accordingly, at a meeting of CCCTA's Board of Directors on September 17, 1998,the Board adopted an amended Conflict of Interest Code by Resolution No. 99-002. Copies of the Resolution and Code are enclosed along with the completed and signed 1998 Local Agency Biennial Notice. The following amendments were made in the Code. Positions that manage public investments were deleted from the list of designated positions,but are set forth in a footnote stating such officials and employees must file a statement of economic interests under Government Code Section 87200. References to discontinued Disclosure Forms 721 and 730 were revised. Finally, various positions and titles of designated employees were revised to reflect changes in CCCTA's organization. If approval of this amended Code by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors is required, we ask that you calendar such action for the Board at the earliest convenient date. Pursuant to Government Code Section 82041, the CCCTA is a local government agency for the purposes of the Political Reform Act. The Fair Political Practices Commission has adopted a regulation, 2 California Code of Regulations Section 18730, which contains the terms of a standard Conflict of Interest Code which can be incorporated by reference, and which may be amended by the Fair Political Practices Commission to conform to amendments. by the Fair Political Practices Commission in the Political Reform Act after public notice and hearings. The terms of 2 California Code of Regulations Section 18730 and any amendments to it duly adopted by the Fair Political Practices Commission, along with the attached Appendices A and B, in which officials and employees are designated and disclosure categories are set forth, are hereby incorporated by reference and constitute the Conflict of Interest Code of the Central Contra Costa Transit Authority. Designated employees shall file statements of economic interests. The General Manager shall identify the CCCTA staff person with whom statements shall be filed.
