Olson, Psy.D. , for the period from April 1, 1998 through September 30, 1998, for the provision of school and communty ' based intensive intermittent mental health services to severely emotionally disturbed Special Education students, and their families, in the Acalanes School District for its Del Valle Special: Day Class. S3: Approve and authorize the Health Services Director or his designee (Donna Wigand) to execute on behalf of the County, Novation Contract #24-938-1 with SenecaResidential and Day Treatment' Center, Inc. in the amount of $160,638, for the period from July 1, 1998 through June 30, 1999, to provide school based mental health services for Medi-Cal eligible children and families enrolled in the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) Program. This Contract includes an automatic six-month contract extension through December 31, 1999, in the amount of $80,319. Expected program outcomes are Increase and maintain school attendance as measured by school records; Increase in positive social and emotional development as measured by the Child and Adolescent Functional Assessment Scale (CAFAS); Increase in family satisfaction as measured by the Parent Satisfaction Survey; and Decrease in out-of-home placements as measured by mental health and social services statistics. A&Q QUND S FOR 0 NDATICIN On April 28, 1998, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #24-938 with Seneca Residential and Day Treatment Center, Inc. for the period from Match 1, 1998 through June 30, 1998 (which included an automatic four-month contract extension through October 31, 1998) to provide school based mental health services, including; assessments; individual., group, and family therapy; medication support; case management; outreach; and crisis intervention services to elementary-aged children and their families enrolled in the EPSDT Program in Wash County. Novation Contact #24-938-1 replaces the automatic four-month extension under the prior Contract, and allows the Contractor to continue providing services through June 30, 1999.
