This bill would enact the California Library Construction and Renovation Bond Act of 2000, which would authorize the issuance pursuant to the State General Bond Law of bonds in the amount of $1,000,000,000 for the purpose of financing a library construction and renovation program administered by the State Librarian. The bill would provide for submission of the bond act to the voters at the statewide general election on November 7, 2000, and would become operative upon adoption by the voters at that election. 99 ......... ......... ......... ............................... ... ........ ............... ......... ......... ......... ......... ....._.. ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ........ .........
