THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on November 4, 1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Rogers, Uilkema, Gerber, Canciamilla, DeSaulnier
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Completion of Warranty Period and Release of Cash Deposit under the Road
Improvement Agreement along Laurel Road east of SR4 for Subdivision 5946,
Oakley area.
On April 10, 1990, this Board resolved that the improvements to Laurel Road (east of SR4)
and associated bridge over Marsh Creek were completed as provided in the road improvement
agreement with Hal Porter Development Company, and now on the recommendation of the Public
Works Director;
The Board hereby FINDS that the improvements have satisfactorily met the guaranteed
performance standards for the period following completion and acceptance:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the aforementioned improvements and
warranty period are ACCEPTED as complete and the Public Works Director is AUTHORIZED to
refund the $2,198 cash security performance(Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 0115068, dated October
14, 1986) plus interest, less $890 for inspection fees, to Hal Porter Development Company in
accordance with Governance Code Section 94-4.406.
