In addition to the 2% (20 salary levels) cost of living salary adjustment (COLA) which the Substance Abuse Lead Counselor class received effective 10/1/97, this class will receive an additional 2.5% (25 salary levels) pay adjustment effective 10/1/97. This will adjust the salary range for Substance Abuse Lead Counselor to salary range C5-1729 ($2,559-3,111) effective 10/1/97. It will also establish a 6.9% differential between the Lead Counselor and Counselor classes. 2. From this date forward, each time the class of Substance Abuse Counselor receives a Pay Equity salary adjustment, the class of Substance Abuse Counselor will receive an equivalent "spin-off' salary adjustment. The Substance Abuse Lead Counselor class will no longer receive these pay adjustments after the class of Substance Abuse Counselor receives its final Pay Equity allocation.
