To date this seat has been occupied by someone nominated by the Legal Services Foundation. The incumbent resigned and Legal Services has nominated Ms. Madrigal. The Managed Care Commission has recommended that Ms. Madrigal be appointed to this vacant seat and our Committee concurs in that recommendation. Supplemental MCC Application Information The Board of Supervisors is seeking to appoint members of the MCC who are dedicated, health-care interested, capable, public- spirited and who want to make CCHP an outstanding health care plan. The capacities listed below will be used in making the choices for the appointments. These are in no way prerequisites for a position on the MCC, but they do indicate valuable areas of experience for the MCC when present in a suitable candidate. In addition, the Board is seeking to make appointments that reflect the cultural, ethnic, gender and geographical diversity of Contra Costa County.
