HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10141997 - C5 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on October 14, 1997, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, Uilkema, Gerber, Canciamilla, DeSaulnier NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 971541 (Streets & Highways Code § 960) SUBJECT: Sale of Surplus Real Property Port Chicago Highway @ Seal Creek Project No. 0662-6R4341, CDD-CP#97-66 Clyde Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County acquired certain real property on January 12, 1977, in the Clyde area, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for highway purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County or other public purposes. This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the sale of said property to Gonsalves and Santucci, Inc., dba Conco Cement Company, pursuant to Streets & Highways Code Section 960 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County in consideration for the payment received in full in the amount of $2,000, the estimated fair market value of the property. The Board hereby DIRECTS that said funds be credited to the Road Fund, Fund Number 110800. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Quitclaim Deed to be delivered to the grantee. The Board hereby FINDS that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment, and DETERMINES that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and Section 15312 of the State CEQA Guidelines, and DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption. This activity has been found to conform to the General Plan of the County as the surplus property will be merged with the adjacent parcel.
