THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
Adopted this Resolution on October 7, 1997, by the following vote:

SUBJECT: Conveyance of an Easement to
The City of Pittsburg
Station Site No. 87, West Leland Road
Project No. 7126-6X5515
The Board of Supervisors, as the Board of Directors of the Contra Costa County
Fire Protection District RESOLVES THAT:
The District acquired certain real property on West Leland Road, in the City of
Pittsburg for Fire Station No. 87, by Grant Deed recorded on July 22, 1997, Document No.
97-0127877-00. The City of Pittsburg has requested an easement over portions of said
property, described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto, for sanitary sewer, waterline
and storm drain purposes. This Board FINDS that the conveyance of such an easement
is in the public interest and will not substantially conflict or interfere with the District's use
of the property.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of an easement
to the City of Pittsburg over the property described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto,
pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.6 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHO-
RIZED to execute the Grant of Easement on behalf of the District.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Grant of Easement to be
delivered to the grantee.

FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, a public body,
hereby GRANT(S) to the CITY OF PITTSBURG, a municipal corporation, their successors,
assigns, lessees and agents (hereinafter referred to as "Grantees"), the right to construct,
place, operate, inspect, maintain, replace, and remove facilities consisting of underground
utility pipes, manholes, aboveground marker posts, and appurtenances necessary to any and
all thereof, together with the right of ingress and egress across, upon, in and under the real
property in the County of Contra Costa described and shown on the attached Exhibits "A"
and"B".
Grantees shall be responsible for damage caused intentionally or by any negligent act
or omission of Grantees, their agents or employees, while exercising the rights granted
herein.
Grantor, their successors and assigns, shall not erect or construct any building or
other structure, or drill or operate any well within above said easement.
