HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01211997 - C13 ORDINANCE NO. 97-2 The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors ordains as follows (omitting the parenthetical footnotes from the official text from the enacted or amended provisions of the County Ordinance Code). 'SECTION I. SUMMARY. This ordinance amends Contra Costa County Ordinance Code section 24-2.402 to change the regular meeting starting time of the Board of Supervisors on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. SECTION II. Section 24-2.402 of the Ordinance Code is amended to read: 24-2.402 Regular. The board shall hold regular meetings for transacting business properly before it as board of supervisors, and in its capacities as governing body of various public entities and agencies, and otherwise (in addition to other meetings or sessions, in such other capacities, as may be required by law or otherwise provided for), in its chambers in the County Administration Building, Pine and Escobar Streets Martinez, California, from nine a.m. until adjourning or continuance, on every Tuesday; except that when Tuesday is a holiday, the meeting shall be held during similar hours on the next business day. This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after passage, and within 15 days passage shall be published once with the names of supervisors voting for and against it in the Contra Costa Times , a newspaper published in this County.
