FINANCIAL IMPACT: These contracts are funded through 1997 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) monies from the California Department of Community Services and Development . No County funding is required. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND: These contracts were orginially awarded based on the results of a Request for Proposal (RFP) administered by the Department and the Economic Opportunity Council to provide priority services in target areas of the County. Approval of the above-listed contracts will continue 1997 CSBG program services throughout Contra Costa County.
