HI. Background and Reasons for Recommendations: The Public Works Department requires
the acquisition of real property for County, Flood Control District and Redevelopment Agency
projects. The Public Works Department recommends that the services of Joyce L. Diaz &
Associates, who provide primarily appraisal services, be used in some of these projects on a case
by case basis.
N. Consequences of Negative Action: The County, District, and Agency would be unable to retain
the services necessary to complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
