I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE Project, and DETERMINE that the project is a California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) Class 1 c Categorical Exemption and Direct the Public Works Director to prepare contract
plans and specifications for construction.
DIRECT the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County
Clerk.
DIRECT the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee to the
County Clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption.
H. Financial Impact:
The estimated project cost is $20,000.00, funded by Count)CSrvice Area R-7A Funds (100%).

M. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The project includes construction of approximately 500 foot long by 6 inch high asphalt curb on
the south side of the park along Easy Street starting from the corner of Miranda and Easy Streets.
The project will prevent any potential water flowing off the park from sheeting across Easy street
on to private property.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
Delay in approving the project will result in a delay of design and construction.

on the following: The proposed project consists of the minor alteration of an existing facility. All work

previously existing. No removal of a scenic resource will occur as a result of the project.

Community Development staff has reviewed the attached project, CP 97---�-d- to determine
if mandatory referral for General Plan Conformance, as required by Section 65402 of the
Government Code, is necessary.
The project needs no further mandatory referral clearance from County staff subject to the
