SUBJECT: LEASE FOR THE PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL
SPECIFIC REQUESTS OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDATION
APPROVE a Lease, commencing January 1, 1998, with Jeffrey E. Schwartz, Trustee of the
Schwartz Family Trust, John Schwartz and Cathy Schwartz for the entire first floor of 1875 Willow
Pass Road, Concord, for occupancy by the Private Industry Council, under the terms and
conditions more particularly set forth in said Lease, and AUTHORIZE the Director of General
Services to EXECUTE said Lease on behalf of the County.
DETERMINE that the above project is a Class 1 Categorical Exemption under the California
Environmental Quality Act.
DIRECT the Community Development Department to file a Notice of Exemption with the County
Clerk.
11., FINANCIAL IMPACT
Payments required are to come from the budget of the Private Industry Council.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND
Provide for use of office space as requested by the Private Industry Council.
