SUBJECT: BUCHANAN FIELD AIRPORT - PARCEL C - CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a
Consulting Services Agreement with Sedway Kotin Mouchly Group (SKMG) to assist with the lease and
development of a 4.4 acre parcel of land near the Buchanan Field Airport, under the terms and
conditions more particularly set forth in said Consulting Services Agreement.
II. Financial Impact:
The cost of services provided by SKMG shall not exceed $30,000. Funds will come from the Airport
Enterprise Fund.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
County issued a Request For Consultant Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit potential real estate consultants
to assist the County with the lease and development of a 4.4 acre parcel of land located at the corner
of Solano Way and Marsh Drive near the Buchanan Field Airport. After considering the respondents
to the RFQ, County staff recommends the execution of a Consulting Services Agreement with SKMG.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
A Consulting Services Agreement between County and SKMG will not be executed.
