DEAR SUPERVISOR SMITH:
THE RODEO MUNICIPAL ADVISORY COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO THANK
YOU, AND THE ENTIRE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, FOR OVERSEEING
THE FUNDS FROM THE UNOCAL GOOD NEIGHBOR AGREEMENT.
THE RECENT GRANT APPLICATIONS, WHEN APPROVED, SHOULD DE-
PLETE THE ACCOUNT.
AS YOU KNOW, ANY FUTURE FUNDING WILL BE DONE THROUGH THE
EAST BAY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION. WE SINCERELY HOPE THAT THE
PROCESS THROUGH EBCF WILL BE AS SMOOTH AS IT HAS BEEN WITH
COUNTY MANAGEMENT.
WE ALSO APPRECIATE VERY MUCH THE INTEREST THAT YOU HAVE
ALLOTED TO THESE FUNDS, THIS WAS A PLEASANT AND WELCOME
SURPRISE.
SINCERELY,
SHIRLEY MOIRANO
CHAIRPERSON
