SUBJECT: Amending the September 18, 1996 Board Order Authorizing Execution of JTPA
Title 115% Contracts with Three Service Providers.
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Amend the September 18, 1996 Board Order authorizing execution of
standard form Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) Title II 5% contract
with three service providers by changing the ending date of contract for St.
Vincent De Paul Society (#19-1229-0) from 6/30/97 to 9/30/97 with all other
specifications of the Board Order remaining unchanged.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None. One hundred percent federal funds.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONBACKGROUND:
By its Order dated September 18, 1996, the Board authorized the Executive
Director of the Private Industry Council to execute JTPA 5% contracts with
three service providers for the term of contract and the payment limits
specified in the attachment to the Board Order.
After approval of the September 18,-Board Order PIC staff were informed
by the service provider, St. Vincent DePaul, that the ending date of this
contract (#19-1229-0) should be 9/30/97 rather than 6/3
