All persons desiring to speak were heard. Therefore, IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that a position is ADOPTED in opposition to Proposition 215 that if approved by the electorate at the November election would permit the medical use of marijuana. The Robbie Bush Board is opposed to Proposition 215 for several reasons. First, the Joseph Pmtansky Initiative is poorly written and would result in vague and ambiguous op legislation. This murky Ianguage would seriously hamper the ability of law enforcement to effectively enforce existing marijuana laws. With the Paul Hamd ON, alarming rise in drug use by our youth, the Substance Abuse Advisory Board has serious concerns as to bow this law would ultimately impact our communities.
