The Robbie Bush Board is opposed to Proposition 215 for several reasons. First, the Joseph Pmtansky Initiative is poorly written and would result in vague and ambiguous op legislation. This murky Ianguage would seriously hamper the ability of law enforcement to effectively enforce existing marijuana laws. With the Paul Hamd ON, alarming rise in drug use by our youth, the Substance Abuse Advisory Board has serious concerns as to bow this law would ultimately impact our communities. Secondly, the Board believes that further scientific .Ar La►ee Members research needs to be conducted on the risks and benefits of the medical Kameth Capur use of marijuana to the individual as well as the larger society.
