SUBJECT: Approve Annexation of Subdivision 7613 into Zone 48 of the Countywide
Landscape District, Danville Area.
Project No. 4500-6X5244, CDD-CP# 96 -61.
Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background & Justification
1. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE Activity, and
FIND that the activity, annexing Subdivision 7613 into Zone 48, will not have a
significant effect on the environment, and that it has been determined to be
exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to
Section 15061 (b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines.
DIRECT the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption
with the County Clerk.
DIRECT the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00
handling fee to the County Clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption.

II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The estimated activity cost is $5880. funded by annual assessments (100%).
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND:
The project includes frontage landscaping improvements along the public right-
of-way.
Annexation is needed to provide the mechanism for collection of assessments
which will enable the county to maintain landscape improvments.
IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Delay in approving the activity may jeopardize funding.
