Mr. David N. Bortin
BY DEPUTY
The term of office of the previous member of the advisory board expired January 31 ,
1996 and she had already served two terms and thus could not be reappointed. The
County Library Commission has recommended the appointment of Mr. Bortin as this
County's representative on the Bay Area Library Information System Lay Advisory
Board. Our Committee has recruited for other applicants. We believe that Mr. Bortin
is well qualified as a member of this County's Library Commission and would well
represent this County on the advisory board. We are, therefore, recommending his
appointment.
