Post Office Box 63 Martinez, CA 94553 Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors 651 Pine Street Martinez, CA 94553 February 9, 1996 Honorable Supervisors: The Contra Costa County Appraisers' Association hereby vigorously expresses its concern as to the issues of health, safety and Americans with Disabilities Act compliance posed by the continued utilization of the present Assessor's Office facility. In response to those concerns, the Association firmly supports any initiatives to either: 1. Renovate the current Assessor's Office facility to address the health, safety, and ADA considerations; or 2. Build a new facility to house the Assessor's Office activities and thereby address the three concerns. The Contra County Appraisers' Association strongly recommends your support in this matter. Sincerely, dhn J nson, President
