COU®FRFE�L RDER BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Accepting and Giving ) RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE Notice of Completion of Contract for ) and NOTICE OF COMPLETION State Route 4 Widening Project ) (C.C. § 3086, 3093) Proiect No. 4660-6X4013-92 ) RESOLUTION NO. 96/ 56 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES that: The County of Contra Costa on June 7, 1995 contracted with De Silva Gates Construction, for the State Route 4 Widening Project, with Seaboard Surety Company as surety, for work to be performed on State Route 4 between Empire Avenue and Vintage Parkway in the Oakley area; Between July 24, 1995 and December 31, 1995, De Silva Gates Construction performed a portion of the contract work consisting of the installation of construction area signs and the purchase of traffic signal equipment. On November 14, 1995, the County of Contra Costa terminated the above contract prior to its completion; and The Public Works Director reports that the portion of the work completed prior to the termination or as part of the termination has been inspected and recommends its acceptance as complete as of January 31, 1996. Therefore, said portion of the work is ACCEPTED as complete on said date, and the Clerk shall file with the County Recorder a certified copy of this Resolution and Notice as a Notice of Completion for said contract., PASSED BY THE BOARD on February 13, 1996 by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS ROGERS, BISHOP, TORLAKSON., SMITH NOES: NONE ABSENT: SUPERVISOR DESAULNIER CERTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION Contact: Joseph P.
