SUBJECT: Approval ' of Standard Contract #26-213-7 with
RGI Inc. , dba Key Temps
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) Sc BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee
(Frank Puglisi, Jr. ) , to execute on behalf of the County, Standard
Contract #26-213-7 with KGI Inc. , dba Key Temps, in the amount of
$35, 000, for the period from January 1, 1997 through December 31, 1997,
for provision of temporary registered dental assistants at Merrithew
Memorial Hospital and Health Centers.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
This Contract is included in the Health Services Department Enterprise
I budget.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND:
On February 6, 1996, the Board of Supervisors approved Standard
Contract #26-213-6 with KGI Inc. , dba Key Temps, for the period from
January '1, 1996 :through December 31, 1996, for temporary registered
dental assistant services at Merrithew Memorial Hospital and Health
Centers, during staff absences and vacancies.
Approval of Standard Contract #26-213-7 will allow the Contractor to
continue to provide temporary coverage, as required by the Department,
through December 31, 1997.
