Pleasant Hill, Ca 94523 Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors C/O County Clerk 651 Pine St. Martinez, CA 94553 Dear Sirs: I am a fairly recent resident of Contra Costa County. As a former librarian, and once a library board member, as well as an avid library patron, I am concerned about the suggested closing of the Central library. The convenience of one location and the efficiency of a single staff knowing the contents of the special collections make it practical to keep these in one central place. Pleasant Hill is reasonably central and is already known and used by all areas of the county. I hope that you see the advantage of keeping the central library and will support this with your vote. Yours very truly, Mary Vnces Draper
