re: Library Commission
Dear Mr. Torlakson,
For the past year I have served as the District 5 alternate to the Library
Commission. I have enjoyed the time I have served however a recent increase in my
workload has prevented me from attending the last two meetings and I do not see a
reduction in that workload.until February of next year. For this reason I cannot justify
remaining on the commission when there are others who can give the commission the
time it deserves.
May I add that the Library Commission is currently staffed with dedicated
community activists who are very concerned about maintaining the highest quality
library service throughout the county. Anne Marie Gold is also a tireless individual
whom the county is fortunate to have heading the library system. It was an honor to
work with the entire commission and I hope that I may return to the commission some
time in the future.
Thank you for the opportunity of serving on the Library Commission.
Sincerely,
Dawn M. Polvorosa
