HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10171995 - C30 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA PROCLAIM the week of November 6 through 10,1995 RESOLUTION NO. 95/493 as "NATIONAL HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT WEEK" in Contra Costa County The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: WHEREAS, the National Health Information Management Week was designated to recognize healthcare information and management systems prfoessionals working in health care organizations throughout the world; WHEREAS,Merrithew Memorial Hospital and Health Care Centers are observing and celebrating National Health Information Management Week during the second week of November;and WHEREAS,Contra Costa County recognizes and values the contributions of the many dedicated health information management professionals who support vital information for the clinicians providing health care;and WHEREAS,health information management services are an essential component of a multi-disciplinary continuum of health care services;and WHEREAS,Contra Costa County is proud and honored to have Merrithew Memorial Hospital and Health Care Centers' quality and progressive health information management employees supporting the health care needs of the community;and NOW,THEREFORE,LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY,CALIFORNIA,proclaim November 6 through 12 National Health Care Information Week,and encourage all citizens to renew their commitment to the efforts of the men and women health information management professionals supporting the health needs and improving quality of life. PASSED by the following vote of the Board of Supervisors on this-tZ day of 1995.
