HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10171995 - C27 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA PROCLAIM the week of October 22 through 28,1995 RESOLUTION NO. 95/490 as "NATIONAL PHARMACY WEEK" in Contra Costa County The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: WHEREAS,Merrithew Memorial Hospital and Health Care Centers are observing and celebrating National Pharmacy Week during the fourth week of October;and WHEREAS,Contra Costa County recognizes and values the contributions of pharmacy professionals to health and well-being of its citizens;and WHEREAS,pharmacy services are an essential component of a multi-disciplinary.continuum of health care services; and WHEREAS,pharmacy services play a vital role in the delivery of cost-effective health care;and WHEREAS,Contra Costa County is proud and honored to have Merrithew Memorial Hospital and Health Care Centers' quality and progressive pharmacy services throughout the county. NOW,THEREFORE,LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY,CALIFORNIA,proclaim October22 through 28 National Pharmacy Week,and encourage all citizens to renew their commitment to the efforts of the men and women pharmacy professionals in supporting the health needs and improving quality of life. PASSED by the following vote of the Board of Supervisors on this 17 day of 1995.
