On July 11, 1995, the Board of Supervisors continued to this date the hearing on the proposed abatement of real property at 3460 Sandmound Boulevard, Oakley, Jonathan Scheitel, owner. Dennis Barry, Community Development Department, commented on the reason that the Board had continued the hearing in order to give the applicant the opportunity to file and process a land use permit application to legalize the non-conforming use of the property, and he advised that the applicant had filed land use permit application 952057, and that the applicant has been sent a letter by staff on July 26, 1995, indicating the items that were needed to make the application complete . Mr. Barry advised that the department had recently received a revised plan and that they had not had an opportunity to completely review it, but it is the department' s position that there are a number of details still to be completed on that, and he recommended a continuance of the hearing on the abatement for a period of four months to give staff time to process the application and conclude the matter. The following person spoke : John Coker, 525 Marina Boulevard, Pittsburg, representing Jonathan Scheitel, owner, concurred with the continuance request . Supervisor Torlakson moved to continue the above matter for four months . IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the hearing on the above matter is CONTINUED to February 6, 1996, at 9 :45 a.m. in the Board Chambers .
