Home My WebLink AboutMINUTES - 10101995 - C3 r THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS s CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on October 10, 1995, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, DeSaulnier, Torlakson, Smith NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Bishop ABSTAIN: NOne RESOLUTION NO. 95/477 (S & H § 8355) Subject: Quitclaim of County Interest in Real Property Portion of Port Chicago Highway West of Nichols Road Bay Point Area Project No. 0676-6Q1834 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On September 19, 1995, the Board adopted Resolution No. 95/418 which vacated a portion of Port Chicago Highway west of Nichols Road. This Board hereby DETERMINES that said land, described in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" attached hereto, was previously subject to a street, highway or public service easement, and is no longer needed by the County. This Board hereby determines that any County right, title and interest in said property should be quitclaimed to the adjacent owner, The United States of America. Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 8355 this Board hereby APPROVES quitclaim of County interest and AUTHORIZES the Chair to sign a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County. The Board REVIEWED and APPROVED the project on October 3, 1989, and FOUND the project would have a significant effect on the environment and that an EIR was prepared and circulated pursuant to State Law and County CEQA Guidelines. A Notice of Determination was filed with the County Clerk. The Planning Commission FOUND pursuant to Government Code Section 65402 that this project was in conformance with the general plan.
