HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10101995 - C13 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on October 10, 1995, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, DeSaulnier, Torlakson, Smith NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Bishop ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Granting Permission to Completely Close a Portion of Sellers Avenue for the Purpose of Sewer Installation, Brentwood area. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that permission is granted to Signature Properties to completely close, except for emergency traffic and local residents, Sellers Avenue between Chestnut Street and Sunset Road for the period of October 25, 1995, through January 30, 1996, for the purpose of sewer installation for the main trunk line of Garin Ranch Subdivision subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring roads. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. Signature Properties shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$500,000 for Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured. 5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department, the California Highway Patrol and the Fire District.
