None SUBJECT: Request for Reconsideration by Don Copland, Alamo Improvement Association Planning Committee Relative to Automotive Lube Facility in the Alamo Area. On this date, the Board of Supervisors considered a letter dated January 27, 1995, from Don Copland, Member of the Alamo Improvement Association Planning Committee, requesting the Board to reconsider its decision of January 17, 1995, approving the establishment of an automotive lube facility in the Alamo area (DP 3001-93) . Supervisor Smith moved to schedule this issue for reconsideration within two weeks to get the new information that has come down from staff about this particular approval and have an open hearing to discuss it . The following persons presented testimony: Sanford Skaggs, P.O. Box V, Walnut Creek, representing the applicant, Arthur Anderson, commented on a memo from the Public Works Director, dated January 30, 1995, which purports to address the significance of the mistake in the previous staff report, and the conclusion that it was not significant and there is no change in the staff recommendations, and asked that the request for rehearing ,be denied. . Nancy Kaplan, 184 Canyon Vista Drive, Danville, expressed concerns with the new information and traffic concerns. Victor Westman, County Counsel, advised that if the Board granted reconsideration of. the matter, it would need to be noticed in the same manner as when it was originally heard. Supervisor Bishop expressed support for reconsideration of this matter. Phil Batchelor, County Administrator, advised that the matter be set for hearing on February 28, 1995 . IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the request from Don Copland, Member of the Alamo Improvement Association Planning Committee, asking the Board to reconsider its decision of January 17, 1995, , approving the establishment of an automotive lube facility in the Alamo area is GRANTED; and that February 28, 1995, at 2 P.M. is FIXED for hearing on this matter. cc : Community Development Department County Counsel Ihereby certify that this isatrue end correct copyof Dori Copland and an action taken and entered on the minutes of the P Board 91 Su visors on the date shown.
