The demands of my electrical contracting business have made it increasingly difficult for me to give this committee the attention it requires. As many of you know, I have been a member of this Advisory Council since its inception. Before that time I led a dedicated group of women from the Advisory Council on Employment and Economic Status of Women that for three years worked with the women's and minority communities to persuade the Board of Supervisors to adopt an affirmative action plan for County employees. I am extremely gratified that so many talented and energetic people have come forward to serve on or otherwise participate in this Advisory Council, and I will always be grateful I had the opportunity to work alongside you. Good luck to all of you, and keep fighting the good fight. Best regards,
