Adopted this Resolution on January 24, 1995, by the following vote:

SUBJECT: Conveyance of Easement to the State of California
Former Southern Pacific Right of Way, Parcel Fifty
Project No. W.O. 5575
Danville Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property by deed recorded on
December 30, 1986, in Book 13352 at page 315, in Danville, for public transit and utility
uses. The State of California has requested an easement over a portion of said property,
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for access for repair and maintenance of the
1-680 overpass at Laurel Drive. This Board FINDS that the conveyance of such easement
is in the public interest and will not substantially conflict or interfere with the County's use
of the property.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of an easement
to the State of California, over the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.6 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHO-
RIZED to execute an Easement Deed on behalf of the County in consideration for the
payment received in full in the amount of$500. The Board also AUTHORIZES the Public
Works Director to execute the Right of Way Contract on behalf of the County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Easement Deed to be
delivered to the grantee.

EXHIBIT "A"
A strip of land having a minimum width of twelve feet upon,
over and across a portion of that certain strip of land, one
hundred feet wide, described as PARCEL FIFTY in the deed to
Contra Costa County recorded December 30, 1986, in Book 13352 at
Page 315, Contra Costa County Records, the centerline of first
said strip being described as follows :
COMMENCING at a point on. the easterly line of the parcel of
land described in the indenture to the State of California
recorded July 19, 1972, in Book 6702 at Page 38, Contra Costa
County Records; thence from said point of commencement in a
general southeasterly and northeasterly direction to the
northeasterly line of the aforementioned PARCEL FIFTY, last said
line being also the southwesterly line of the public road right
of way known as Laurel Drive.
