CLERK BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
CONTRA COSTA CO.
Board of Supervisors
651 Pine Street
Martinez, CA
Dear Supervisors:
I am writing you on behalf of the Advisory Council on Equal Employment Opportunities, to
request that the Board of Supervisors direct the I. O. Committee to place the Advisory
Council on Equal Employment Opportunities as a standing agenda item on a quarterly basis.
We believe that this will facilitate the exchange of ideas and concerns between the EEO
Advisory and the Board of Supervisors. This will also serve as an indication of the
importance the county places on the achievement of affirmative action goals adopted by
Contra Costa County.
As always, the EEO Advisory wishes to recognize the county's commitment to achieving a
workforce that reflects the diversity in our community; and provides business opportunities to
businesses that also reflect that rich diversity.
Sincerely,
Jonothan umas, Chair
EEO Advisory
