Senate Bill 190, which was effective January 1, 1986, created statewide Automated Fingerprint Program and established the membership of a Local RAN Board. A County Supervisor is a mandated member of the RAN Board. Supervisor Powers had been the designated representative of the Board of Supervisors. Since he did not stand for re-election, the selection of a new representative is necessary. - The next scheduled meeting of Contra Costa RAN Board is 8:30 a.m. , Friday, February 10, 1995, at the Pleasant Hill Community Center. This will be followed by an Alameda/Contra Costa Regional RAN Board meeting at 9: 30 a.m. Please inform the Board of Supervisors representative that I will be able, at , their convenience, to • provide any background and historical information about the CAL-ID and RAN program in Contra Costa County. They may contact me at 646-2455. Respectfully, WARREN E. RUPF, SHERIFF-CORONER, Chairperson, Contra Costa County RAN Board : . b : kkZman J.
