SUBJECT: Resolution and Notice of Intention
to Exchange Real Property with Ambrose Park
Recreation & Parkway District
State Highway 4/13ailey Road Interchange Project
Project No. 4660-6X4158
Bay Point Area
The Board of Supervisors, of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This Board intends to exchange with Ambrose Park Recreation & Parkway District,
County owned real property in the Bay Point area, described in the attached Notice of
Intention to Exchange Real Property, for land of equal value adjacent to the County's
property in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Right of Way Contract on file
in the Public Works Department.
This property is not required for County use and the exchange is for property of
equal value required for the State Highway 4/Bailey Road Interchange project.
This Board hereby sets Tuesday, March 7, 1995, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's
Chambers in the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as
the time and place it will meet to consummate this conveyance by a four-fifths vote.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby DIRECTED to have the attached Notice published
one time, at least one week preceding the date set for hearing in the Contra Costa Times,
a newspaper of general circulation (pursuant to Government Code Section 6061).

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY
(Gov. Code § 25365)

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors, of Contra Costa County, on February
14, 1995, declared its intention to convey to Ambrose Recreation & Park District the
following described real property:
All that certain real property in the County of Contra Costa, described as follows:
Excess Parcel
Real Property in an unincorporated area of Bay Point, Contra Costa County, California
being a portion of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 14, Township 2 North,
Range 1 West Mount Diablo Meridian, described as follows:
All of parcel 51258 as described in the Grant Deed to Contra Costa County, recorded April
20, 1992 in Book 17421 of Official Records at page 657, all of parcel 51309 as described
in the Grant Deed to Contra Costa County, recorded .July 30, 1992 in Book 17707 of
Official Records at page 204; a portion of parcel 51308 as described in the Grant Deed to
Contra Costa County, recorded June 19, 1992 in Book 17602 of Official Records at page
135; a portion of parcel 51307 as described in the Grant Deed to Contra Costa County,
recorded December 30, 1991, in Book 17115 of Official Records at page 38 and a portion
of Wollam Avenue as described in the Deed to Contra Costa County, recorded October
31, 1937, in Book 446 of Official Records at page 165 further described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said parcel 51258 (17421 or 657); thence from the
Point of Beginning along the south line of last said parcel north 89022'56"west 87.49 feet
(the bearing of north 8902256' west being used as the basis for this description) to the
southwesterly comer of said parcel 51258; thence north 0005'46" east 57.31 feet to a non-
tangent curve, concave to the southwest, having a radius of 88.00 feet and a radial from
the center of said curve bears north 79013'03" east; thence northwesterly along the arc of
said curve 39.44 feet, through a central angle of 25040'50'; thence non-tangent to said
curve north 35016'56"west 6.18 feet to a non-tangent curve, concave to the east, having
a radius of 10.00 feet and a radial from the center of said curve bears south 44023'09"

concave to the southeast, having a radius of 495.00 feet; thence northeasterly along the

said curve along the easterly line of said parcels 51307 (17115 O.R. 38), 51308 (17602
O.R. 135), 51309 (17707 O.R. 204) and 51258 (17421 O.R. 657) south 0005'46" west
232.08 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 20,713 square feet (0.4755 acres) of land more or less.
Excepting Therefrom
1.) A fifteen feet in width sewer easement described as follows:
Commencing at Point"A"as described in the excess parcel described above; thence north
36027'47" west 20.64 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence from the Point of Beginning
continuing along last said line north 36027'47" west 15.00 feet; thence north 53034'58"
east 133.44 feet to a non-tangent curve concave to the southeast, having a radius of
495.00 feet, and a radial from the center of said curve bears north 24°39'37"west; thence
northeasterly along the arc of said curve 17.20 feet, through a central angle of 1 059'27';
thence non-tangent to said curve south 0005'46"west'13.94 feet; thence south 53034'58"
west 141.91 feet to the Point of Beginning.
2.) A ten feet in width storm drain easement described as follows:
Beginning at Point"A"as described in the excess parcel described above; thence from the
Point of Beginning north 36°27'47" west 10.29 feet; thence north 38031'12" east 26.22
feet; thence north 36°58'38" west 28.92 feet; thence north 53032'14" east 7.13 feet to a
tangent curve, concave to the southeast having a radius of 495.00 feet; thence
northeasterly along the arc of said curve 14.44 feet, through a central angle of 1 04018";
thence nontangent to said curve north 65007'08" east 101.02 feet; thence south 0005'46"
west 11.03 feet; thence south 65007'01" west 106.05 feet; thence south 36058'13" east
28.50 feet; thence south 38030'48"west 49.63 feet to a nontangent curve, concave to the
east, having a radius of 10.00 feet and a radial from the center of said curve bears north
85°2243" west; thence northeasterly along the arc of said curve 8.54 feet, through a
central angle of 48054'57'; thence tangent to said curve north 53032'14" east 5.00 feet to
the Point of Beginning.
Bearings and distances used in the above descriptions are based on the California
Coordinate System Zone III (C.C.S. 83). Multiply distances shown by 1.0000609 to obtain
ground level
distances.
Notice is further given that it is proposed to convey said property to Ambrose Recreation
& Park District for land of equal value adjacent to existing County property in the Bay Point
area acquired for the State Highway 4/13ailey Road Interchange project.
The Board will meet on Tuesday, March 7, 1995, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to make such conveyance by at least
a four-fifths vote.
