SUBJECT: Completion of Improvements, and Accepting Right of Way Along a County Road
Subdivision 7667, Oakley Area.
The Public Works Director has notified this Board that the improvements in
Subdivision 7667 have been completed as provided in the Subdivision Agreement with Kaufman
and Broad of Northern California, Inc., heretofore approved by this Board in conjunction with the
filing of the Subdivision Map. Due to circumstances beyond the control of Kaufman and Broad,
the improvements mandated by Condition of Approval 21.A.3 (widening of Laurel Road) could
not be constructed. Therefore, the developer elected to contribute an equivalent contribution
($121,250)to a Road Improvement Fee Trust (819200-0800) in lieu of constructing median
islands and widening 600 linear feet of Laurel Road. (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 213930 dated
September 25, 1992) made by Kaufman and Broad of Northern California, Inc.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the widening of Laurel Road is
.ACCEPTED and DECLARED to be a County Road; the right of way was conveyed by separate
instrument, recorded on November 25, 1992, in Volume 364 of Official Records on page 24-30.
