SUBJECT: REVENUE LEASE - 1820 PEERLESS AVENUE, EL CERRITO
SPECIFIC REQUESTS OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION
APPROVE a Revenue Lease, commencing December 1, 1995, with the City of EI Cerrito
Redevelopment Agency for the premises at 1820 Peerless Avenue, EI Cerrito, for use by the
City under the terms and conditions more particularly set forth in said Lease, and
AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE said Lease on behalf of the
County.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
This lease will generate revenue equal to the rent obligation by the County under the master
lease for the premises. The term is 13 months with a,90-day cancellation provision.
Ill. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND
This lease will allow the City of El Cerrito to occupy the building pending acquisition of the
premises by the Redevelopment Agency.
