THIS IS A MATTER FOR RECORD PURPOSES ONLY NO BOARD ACTION TAKEN i RECEIVED PEC l - 1995 California Foundation For Agriculture In The Classroom CLERK BOARD CONTRA November 30, 1995 Contra Costa County Board of.Supervisors 651 Pine Street Martinez, California 94553 Dear Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors: The enclosed certificates are a small token of our appreciation for your sponsorship of the ATTC Ambassador project La Cheim School in Pleasant Hill, Stoneman School in Pittsburg and Tara Hills Elementary School. Through your contribution, the entire staff at these schools will have access to the Cream of the Crop newsletter, periodic updates through the ATTC Ambassador Times and an Agriculture in the Classroom resource kit which lists you as the sponsor of their school. Ann Glimme is the ATTC Ambassador at Tara Hills, Sue Herrera at La Cheim, and Gen Camera at Stoneman. These schools have already received their resource kit containing interesting information about agriculture and useful lessons for the classroom. The kit is composed of over 20 complete lesson plans; masters for student activities; catalogs and resource materials from organizations like the California Beef Council, the Soil and Water Conservation Service, United States Department of Agriculture and others; numerous classroom resources; and a Fields of Gold video tape! The materials your contribution purchased will provide the ATTC Ambassadors and their schools with all the resources and support needed to learn about agriculture throughout the year.
