HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12191995 - C108 �! - Contra TO: REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY Costa , J County FROM: Phil Batchelor C V" Executive Director DATE: December 19, 1995 SUBJECT: Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Specific Plan Amendments SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS AUTHORIZE the Deputy Director-Redevelopment to enter into a consulting services agreement with Heller Manus Inc. for consulting services relative to the update and amendment of the Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Specific Plan. FISCAL IMPACT None. Redevelopment funds sufficient for this $25,000 contract were included in the adopted 1995-96 Redevelopment Agency Budget. BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS In February. 1994, the Board of Supervisors authorized a review of the Pleasant Hill BART Specific Plan, with the intent to consider amendments to said Plan. With the comprehensive analysis of traffic now underway, it is appropriate to engage the services of a consulting firm to prepare plan documentation relative to proposed Specific Plan amendments. BACKGROUND Chapter 418-2 of Contra Costa County Ordinance defines "refuse" as garbage, combustible or noncombustible waste, and putrescible solid or concentrated liquid wastes originating from household, business, commercial, or hauling municipal and recreational refuse. Contra Costa Transfer and Recovery Station is mandated by Section 418-2.008 to obtain permits to transport refuse on the public streets or highways of this county.
