HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11071995 - C28 r ORDINANCE 95-5 4 ('Drug-Free Zones" Contra Costa County Public Parks) The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors ordains as follows (omitting the parenthetical footnotes from the official text from the enacted or amended provisions of the County Ordinance Code). SECTION 1. SUMMARY. This ordinance adds Article 1110-2.7,section 1110-2.702 to the County Ordinance Code designating "drug-free zones" in all parks in the unincorporated area of Contra Costa County and requiring their posting as such zones. SECTION U. Article 1110-2.7 section 1110-2.702 is added to the County Ordinance Code to read: Article 1110-2.7 Drug Free Zones Section 111.0-2.702. Drug Free Zones. All public parks in the unincorporated area of Contra Costa County are designated as "drug-free zones" pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 11380.5(e)(1.) and shall be posted pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 11380.5(e)(2). (Ord. 95- 54 §2.) SECTION III. Effective Date. This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after passage, and within 15 days after passage shall be published once with the names of supervisors voting for and against it in the CONTRA COSTA TIMES , a newspaper published in this County. (Gov. Code, §§ 25123 & 25124.) PASSED ON November 7 , 1995 , by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers , Smith, DeSaulnier, Torlakson and Bishop NOES: None ABSENT: .
