Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background & Justification
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE Activity, and
FIND that the activity, terminating an Offer of Dedication of 60' of unimproved
road rights-of-way on four parcels fronting Bethel Island Road in exchange for
the Offer of Dedication of right-of-way at a new location on the parcels, will not
have a significant effect on the environment, and that it has been determined to
be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to
Section 15061 (b)(3) of the Act's Guidelines.
DIRECT the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption
with the County Clerk.
<, DIRECT the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00
handling fee to the County Clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:
The activity consists of terminating;an Offer of Dedication of 60' of unimproved road rights-
of-way on four parcels fronting Bethel Island Road in exchange for the Offer of Dedication
of right-of-way at a new location on the parcels (Figures 1-3).
No new parcel will be created as a result of the activity.
LOCATION:
Bethel Island Road is located in an unincorporated east county area of Bethel Island. The
area is undeveloped and is being maintained by the property owners.

Costa County Guidelines for implementing the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970(CEQA), it has been
determined that your project will not have a significant effect on the environment. Your project falls within the
