SPARKS, DIRECTOR COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT Costa SEPTEMBER 15 , 1994 DATE: County SUBJECT: APPROVE 1994-95 PATHS CONTRACT WITH MS . MARY ROSAS SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I . RECOMMENDED ACTION AUTHORIZE the Community Services Director or her designee to execute a Contract with Ms . Mary Rosas in the amount of $34 , 797 for the period of September 30, 1994 , to September 29 , 1995, for continued provision of program services as the Administrative Services Assistant to Pittsburg Alliance of Technology and Homeless Services for Families Project (PATHS) . II . FINANCIAL IMPACT . Contract funding for the period of September 30, 1994 , through June 30, 1995 , is reflected in the Department' s 1994-95 County budget. Contract funding for the period of July 1 , 1995 , through September 29, 1995, will be reflected in the Department' s proposed 1995-96 County budget. No County general funds are involved with this request . III . CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION A decision not to approve this Contract will result in the loss of needed staff services for the County' s PATHS project. IV. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDED ACTION This Contract, if approved, will provide continued administrative support services for the County' s 1994-95 PATHS program. This Contract will be reviewed and approved by County Counsel as to form prior to issuance .
