SUBJECT: BUCHANAN FIELD AIRPORT - LEASE WITH JR LEASING, INC. FOR 161 JOHN
GLENN DRIVE
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMIIIENDAnON(S) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County,
a Lease Agreement with JR Leasing, Inc. for leased premises at 161 John Glenn Drive at the
Buchanan Field Airport, Concord area, under terms and conditions more particularly set forth in
said Lease Agreement.
II. Financial Impact:
Base rent of$2,000.00 per month, plus percentage rent based on monthly gross sales, will be added
to the Airport Enterprise Fund.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Backeround:
The above Lease Agreement provides for the occupancy of vacant office space at the Buchanan
Field Airport.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
Reduced income to the Airport Enterprise Fund.
