Recommended Action: A. ACCEPT Grant Deed dated December 13, 1993, from Larry and Linda Caldwell. B. DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above-referenced Grant Deed recorded in the Office of the County Recorder. II. Financiallmpact: None. III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: Placer Title Company needs to clarify the deed recorded by the County on August 30, 1979. It was Contra Costa County's intent to take a one foot strip for roadway purposes. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: Negative action will result in an incorrect legal description on the deed recorded on August 30, 1979, for the one foot strip granted for roadway purposes.
