Copies - 8 1/2 x 11 $1. 00 per page Copies - Greater that 8 1/2 x 11 $2 .00 per page Copies - Engineering Size (Maps) $3 . 50 per page Certificate Under Seal $2 . 50 per document FINANCIAL IMPACT It is anticipated that revenues will increase for the 1993-94 fiscal year. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND Assembly Bill 130, Chapter 710, 1993 permits the Recorder, through -Board resolution, to increase recording fees by up to $2 if the index is produced within two business days after recordation and if the office is open every business day except legal holidays. It is our goal to remain open every business day. AB 130 allows the Board to set fees for copies and for certified copies. We are requesting such fees to be increased to a statewide standard. Under Goverment Code Section 54994 . 1, the Board of Supervisors must hold a noticed public hearing prior to increasing or adopting new fees for the County Clerk-Recorder.
