BUILDING INSPECTION:
P-300#16251 Transfer LIS Budget unit and positions #10-262 and#10-233 to Building
Inspection Department from Auditor Controller. P-300 #16251 requests that the LIS
budget unit and the two positions in that unit be transferred to the Building
Inspection Department. Building Inspection will provide administrative direction and
GEMEDA will provide operations direction. This change reflects actual operational
practice as the two positions are physically located in Building Inspection spaces and
work most closely with that department. The two positions affected are the Land
Information Systems Director (Wick Smith) and a Department Systems Specialist II
(Al Harvey). There is no cost associated with this action.
COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR - RISK MANAGEMENT
P-300 #16246 Increase hours of Employee Rehabilitation Counselor position #03-263
at salary, level C5-2030 ($3457-4203) from 20/40 to 26/40. P-300 #1.6246 from Risk
Management requests that one of their two part-time Employee Rehabilitation
Counselor positions be increased from 20/40 to 26/40. This action is being taken to
compensate for the other 20/40 position being vacsQbsts of these positions are
paid for from the Workers Compensation Trust Funde original request from Risk
Management requested that the vacant position be decreased from 20/40 to 14/40.
Staff convinced Sondra Rothwell in the CAD's Office to drop the reduction part as
it would require another P-300 if the positions were ever to be filled. Joe Tonda in
Risk Management agreed. The reduction was apparently added to the P-300 by
Sondra.
DISTRICT ATTORNEY
P-300 #16252 Reallocate Deputy District Attorney-Fixed Term-Flat Rate positions
#52, 62, 78, 247, 249, 313, 335, 336, 338 at salary level C1-1979 ($3994) to Deputy
District Attorney at salary level C1-1979 ($3994). P-300 #-16252 from the District
Attorney would convert the nine (9) current two year fixed term Deputies to three
year fixed term Deputies. This would treat current employees the same as new hires
and allow the District Attorney to save even more money in their budget as these
employees are paid at a flat rate.
